The International Senior Citizens’ Day was celebrated in Punyadham Ashram with a lot of zeal every year. This year too, on Sunday, October 2, it was celebrated with great fervour. Over 450 senior citizens from all over Pune attended the function. Dr. B K Upadhyay, IPS, IG Prisons, also a Maha Scholar of Sanskrit and a proponent of Yoga presided over the function in the presence of Maharashtra Bhushan Shiv Shahir Babasaheb Purandare, Padmabhushan D. Vijay Bhatkar and Padmashri Subhash Palekar.
