INIFD showcase talent at London Fashion Scout

Komal Pujar and Shweta Darade students of INIFD Deccan Pune showcased their collection at Fashion Scout during the London Fashion Week 2017.
Komal Pujar’s collection, “The Royal Gateways of Jaipur” was inspired by the city palace in Jaipur having four gates representing the four seasons. “The Peacock Gate” and “The Rose Gate” are the inspiration behind her collection. Using colours like cobalt blue, emerald green, tan, and brown, her collection with deep necks and uneven hemline, has an embossed look achieved by quilting technique.
Shweta Darade’s collection “LUCKNOWI PANACHE”, was inspired by The Lucknowi Chikankari Embroidery and Mughal architecture of India. She uses the pastel colour palette which includes lightest shades of blue, Mahogany Rose and peach. Her collection includes fish cut, asymmetric and sheath cut gowns, culottes, baggy fit trousers and peplum shirt which are beautifully adorned with hand embroidery Chikankari and Jaali work.
