‘Indian Left Handers’ Club’ Launches Museum Of Lefties At Goa

13th August is celebrated as The International Left Handers‟ Day.

Generally people use their right hand to eat, write and for all daily work. However, there is nearly 10 to 12 percent of the population that uses left hand for all these activities.

There are many misconceptions and misunderstandings in the society about left handers. In 1990 a left hander club in England started mobilising the worlds left handed population and today there are thousands of members of this club across the globe. It is the intention of club to build awareness and support for the problems faced by left handers. 

In fact it is a boon as most of the lefties are extra ordinarily intelligent, creative and have unique skills.

If we consider the lefties in India, they occupy 10 crore population in our country. Sandiep Vishnoi and Rashmi Vishnoi from Aurangabad have established „Indian Left handers‟ Club‟ to mobilise and celebrate the left handers.

Many left handers are working great and making wonders in various fields in the world with their tremendous intelligence and skills. The main objects of this club are to remove misconceptions/ misunderstanding about lefties in the society, to gather them, to give them affection, to give them happiness in life, to give opportunities for their ideas, to provide opportunities to their thoughts and experience.

In line with the Madame Tussaud more than hundred statues of world renowned lefty persons are displayed along with their information in this museum which was inaugurated at Goa.
