Hands of India, a collaboration of weavers and hand-embroidery groups for all over India, is back for its summer edition in Pune. This enterprise was started to provide employment to people in the rural villages and small towns, and aims at preserving the rich textile and handcrafting traditions of the country.
On sale are Phulkari from Punjab; Chikan, Pattiwork and Aari from UP; Kantha and English Embroidery from WestBengal; Sujani from Bihar; Sozni and Kashida from Kashmir and Kasuti from Karnataka.
