Celebrating the spirit of International Women’s Day, Guldasta-e-Urdu brings an evening that commemorates six iconic women and their contributions to society through their work in performance arts, writing and music.
The lives of Madhubala, Meena Kumari, Jeelani Bano, Parveen Shakir, Noor Jahan and Shamshad Begum will be showcased. There will be Audio-Visual presentations, narrations and performances featuring Nasima Merchant, Mumtaz Peerbhoy, Vijaya Teksinghani, Nadia Sen Sharma, Rukhsana Mushtaq and Nitu Bajwa.
