Cats vs dogs

Dogs are loyal loving and don’t shy away from showing affection and they end up being a major part of the family. Cats are mysterious and unpredictable at the same time they can be loving and they do show affection however small it maybe. They are just super funny – from their quick agile movements to their curious reckless mind.

Cats are like teens.

Many people don’t understand cats. You need to give them space. They are like the cool kids you want to hang around with. You want to act cool around them but not give them too much attention or they’ll dismiss you and walk away. If you act too needy around a cat they will walk away from you with no care in the world. They go out when they want and they come in when they want. Almost like teenagers who don’t want to be around all the time.

Dogs have masters and cats have slaves

Dogs definitely have masters. They listen, understand, love and stay loyal in most cases. Cats on the other hand do show signs of ‘Oh I’m better than you.’ But, when I’m home after a long day, and all my cats are hungry and meowing and rubbing my leg and doing everything to get my attention, the meows to me sound more of a begging tone than a demanding one. So cats do beg for food and attention so the fact that people think that they look at us like slaves is inaccurate. Cats are just misunderstood. My cats follow me everywhere like dogs do, sometimes even on the street. And I have to shoo them back home.

Better pets

I say both! They’re different and unique in their own way. It depends on what kind of person you are and what behaviour appeals to you more. As time goes, dogs tend to be more like their owners while cat owners tend to be more like their cats. It’s a weird mix and I think you should experience both. Although dogs are easier to understand and love, while cats are eccentric and you need to figure them out if you haven’t already.

If you have the place for them and you can get them used to each other nothing like it, its chaotic fun!
