The city yet again hosted the annual procession for Ashadi Ekadashi. The Wari is walked by millions of people and takes 21 days to covering the distance of over 250 kms from Alandi and Dehu to Pandharpur.

Devotees from far-flung villages come together to have one glimpse of Lord Vitthal in the temple town of Pandharpur. Millions of devotees who dance and sing abhangs on their way to Pandharpur.
