Enjoy an evening of two plays at Gyaan Adab as part of their Children’s Theatre. 12-year old Nishita Bakshi’s first play, written in English, Squiggly In The Fish Pond, is a science fiction adventure for 12 to 15 year olds that dramatically unfolds a story about aliens visiting earth in search of their lost children. The play was written with the inspiring assistance of The Mentorship Programme (guided by Randhir Khare, the Mentor) which prepared her with the necessary dramatic skills that she used to craft her play.
The Wish That Ran Away is a fantasy play for 6 to 11 year olds about what happens when we wish for more than we really need.
These theatrical offerings by Gyaan Adab Children’s Theatre is the fourth in a series of productions which are a result of intense and exciting theatre enrichment activities, designed to help children and young people to become more creatively expressive.
