What is better than a crispy, tangy, sweet, spicy and crunchy chaat?

Quite nothing really! The humble chaat is more than just a snack, it is an emotion and more so for discerning Puneites who are spoilt for choice.

Our resident foodies at Pune365 took a nice chaat stroll of the city to bring you this selection for the perfect Sunday evening snack!

Dahi Bhalle

Deeply fried dal vada served with chilled curd topped with pomegranate and sev. Daal vadas are soaked in chilled water for sponginess and then later transferred to thick curd. Dahi bhalle is a popular north Indian chat which is loved by all in the city too. Yo kakke is complete bliss for Punjabi cuisine. From parathas to lip-smacking chat, they have it all.

Chole Tikki is one of the most irresistible chaats at Delhi Swad. It is a combination of sweet, tangy, hot and spicy chutney which makes it delicious. Tikki is a crispy spiced potato patty which is served with spicy north Indian chickpea curry, Tamarind and date chutney, green chutney and topped with coriander and onion. Lachha Tokri ChatLachha tokri chaat is a popular north Indian chat. The Tokri or katori is made with grated potatoes, Resembling a basket which is filled with fried crispy potato, cooked chana, boiled potato, curd, green and tamarind chutney topped with some freshly cut onion tomato and coriander. Cheese Ragda PuriRagda Pattice is the second most popular chaat in Maharashtra after pani puri. Ragda is a white peas Indian curry and pattice is simple mashed potato cake. Cheese Ragda Pattice is served in a bowl and has two pattice well mashed covered with white peas curry garnished with finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chutney, and tamarind chutney, and mozzarella cheese. The cheese gets blended into the chat and gives it the zest. Natraj Bhel is also famous for their bhel and cheese bhel.

Cheese Samosa Dahi Chat
