British Council and Savitri Marketing Institution for Ladies Empowerment (SMILE) launched ‘Mix the City’ installation for Punekars. The event is being held until September 21 at the Vishrambaug Wada from 11am to 9pm.
It is a special showcase of music, culture and creativity inspired by India which excites and inspires people through British Council’s work in arts. Mix the City reflects upon the evolving music scene in India and the fusion of sounds between classical, folk, ethnic and contemporary music styles with a balanced mix between vocals and instrumental in all versions.
Explore and create your own music from a range of musical styles and stand a chance to win some really exciting goodies.
Mix the City is an interactive music platform that showcases the music, instruments and sights of a particular city or region – allows users to explore and create their unique music compositions that can be shared online.
