While this may seem bland considering the ‘Satvik Diet’ many follow during Navratri, Pune’s culinary industry never fails to surprise customers with exquisite taste and variety!

Pune365 took a tour of the city to check out the interesting Navratri Special Thalis and here is what we found:

Rajdhani Thali Restaurant

Khandani Rajdhani’s has a special Vrat Thali that makes fasting and feasting go hand in hand! The chefs have perfected the most authentic preparations, made from the freshest ingredients.

Their classic thali includes starters like sabudana wada and kuttu ke pakora, their main course has great Tomato Paneer Sabji, Kele Ki Sabzi, Paneer Vatana, and Kuttu Puri, Rajgiri Puri to go along.

For dessert, their Fruit Shrikhand, Shakarkandi Halwa and Sabudana Kheer will leave you asking for more.

Hotel Shreyas

Hotel Shreyas’ is known for its lip-smacking thalis and the Upvas thali is specially prepared only during Navratri.

The Thali comprises Sabudana Khichdi, Varyche Tandul, Danaychi amati, Upvasache Thalipeeth, Batata Papad, sabudana Wada, Kakdi Koshmibir, Srikhand and Amrakhand, along with appetising drinks.

The Navratri Special thali is a must try in Hotel Shreyas. .

Tasty Tongue

Tasty TongueTasty Tongue has three different types of Upwas Thalis with unique dishes. The highlight across their thalis is the crisp sabudana wada and the amazing hot puffed puri. This is served with different types of vegetables- Potato tomato sabji, Paneer sabji, Rabdi, Sabudana Khichdi, sweet curd, papad, and cucumber.

Panchavati GauravThe Navratri special meal at Panchavati Gaurav  is prepared with a medley of spices and flavours.

The delicacies in thali include Sabudana Wada, Mava Paneer, Rajara Puri, Sabudana Khichdi, Dahi, Batata Sheera, Mava Barfi, Amras and faluda as dessert and many more dishes as the menu is rotational here..

Isn’t it surprising the all-time pocket-friendly Faasos have introduced Navratri special Thali in their menu? They have got everything on their list from basic sabudana Khichdi to sabudana kheer. Limited menu yet, three varieties of thalis, Singhada Aloo Paratha & Hare Tamatar Royal Satvik Meal, Paneer Makhanwala, Royal Navratra Meal and Hare Tamatar & Sabudana Wada Royal Thali.

Place: Shop 182, Near Baner Nagri Bank, Baner & Shop 23, Destination Center, Upper Ground Floor, Magarpatta. There are twenty-four outlets in Pune in different parts of the city.

Cost: Rs 300 upwards.
