Posting the ‘all dolled up selfie’, group bitching and calling the BFF’s male counterpart to check on him are just the more publicised things that you hear about girls in hostels..

“Self-pampering is ‘the’ thing that most men think we keep doing, and yes, they’re right! We do all that,” admits Pritha.
“From the day-long face pampering and body massages to the never-ending waxing sessions on each other’s body, we have done it all!
“It’s simple really, when you want to have flawless skin and have no money to spend, your roomies are the saviour,” she adds.
Spinning the bottle and giving a dare to the most hated girl in the gang, is really the hot favourite. But Sheena the dare devil has another take on this. “I am adventurous by nature, and sharp-witted and I just hate the over sweet types.
“In the very first week of joining the hostel, I arranged a room party, inviting all the girls in the house. I sneaked ‘stuff’ and ‘drinks’ inside to make the party wild. Of course, the ‘dare game’ was the highlight. I intentionally prepared the dare chits with ‘devil may care’ tasks. And yes, as expected, the first-time stoned ones were the entertainers.
“From giving lap dances to expressing love for the sexiest one, accompanied by real jaw dropping vamp shows, we enjoyed it all,” she exclaimed with a devilish laugh.
“The idea of organising a ‘Men Pe Gyan’ class for the uninitiated comes normally from the expert types,” says Marie. See, it’s like saving the world na! We stuff ‘jewel boxes’ with bits and pieces of our ‘Gyan‘ on men and pass it on to the uninitiated to prepare them for the lecherous men of our world !!
Depending upon the internet speed, a favourite past time is celeb stalking, and dreaming up the wildest fantasies. “I can stalk Shahrukh for like 20 hours a day,” says Shruti. “I am constantly dreaming of going on a date with him to a deserted island and showering him with my love for him. To this thought of mine, I do get some interesting expert opinions from the mates in my room,” she said.
“I think men do this all the time. They walk the streets with their short boxers and hairy legs. So stop pointing fingers at us exclaims Kiran! At an all-girls hostel, it’s obvious that you will spot some ‘skimpily dressed beauties’ walking down the corridor bitching about men,” she shares.
Getting drunk and fooling around or fighting for the last piece of pizza is also a hostel regular. “I don’t drink but I have seen my friends fooling around in the hostel, messing with the warden and doing crazy dance moves. And it is kind of fun to watch the full on ‘Bollywood drama’. Ya, we have gone into trouble several times, thanks to all this,” shares Harneet gleefully.
