Khushboo got Lucky!

If he feels like a little walk, he comes down the stairs. Having seen what he has to, the boy goes to the lift and waits for his family to realise that he needs to go up. All he has to do is meew, just once, and Khushboo Panjabi gets up, drops him to his plush bedroom on the first floor by lift and comes down!
This Persian cat has got it all sorted. A doting family, a lovely house and lots of water bowls across the house. “If he sees water, he has to have some. He just loves it,” says Khushboo, a Zumba instructor.
Very lucky
For his humans, six-year-old Lucky is everything. Khushboo, her brother Ronak, father Moti and mother Radha are very protective of their Persian kitty. Its for a reason. When you see him looking at you, his head tilted at an angle, you wouldn’t guess that he has partial vision. “He lost his eyesight after a vaccination just a few weeks after he joined the family. We got him operated in both his eyes and got lenses fixed. So he can see, though not very clearly,” says Khushboo. Through all the medicines and eye drops, Lucky was an angel. “When he tried to push my hands away from giving him medicines, never once did he claw me or bite me,” says Khushboo kissing her fur ball.
Lazy days
Lucky enjoys snoozing the most. Especially in inaccessible places like the space under the sofa, the tiny space in the back of the recliners. The easiest way to get him out is to bring out the ice-cream.
He sometimes gets really lazy. If he is too lazy to use his litter tray, he looks around to see if anybody is around and quietly uses the carpet or the mat! He has been caught doing that!
Lucky word
Khushboo says, “Lucky has only one meew – for everything. For food, attention, using the lift, summoning us or the maids, its just one meew.” And he is allowed to do everything he wants from tearing the carpet and wallpaper to fussing over what he feels like eating. With such a loveable cat, you can’t really help but permit everything!
